This stylish handleless pitcher is and original design from Bai Mu Quan’s workshop. It can hold a generous 2o0 ml when filled to maximum capacity which will easily accommodate any teapot from the Bai Mu Quan collection and more. It is particularly well adapted to the Ash Glazed Small Flat Teapot. Like many items from Bai Mu Quan, this pot is moulded to ensure consistency and precision in shape. Nevertheless, this is far from being a mass-produced item as these pitchers are moulded one by one and corrected individually by an apprentice before being handed over to Master Quan for firing and glazing. A single coat ash glaze is featured on the inside and outside of this pitcher which delivers a vast array of terracotta shades over a greyish base. The satin mat feel of this glaze somewhat resembles the hues and textures obtained from wood firing at a fraction of the price! Like all the work featured in our handcrafted section, each item is made one by one and is signed by the artist. Handmade in Taiwan.
