Product Description
These bamboo scoops are known as Cha He in Mandarin, this tool is part of the traditional ceremonial equipage. We think it can also find a rightful place in more practical and daily habits like having to scoop-up leaves from your favourite caddies or urns. Their 45 mm diameter will fit inside most of our urns and tins opening. They vary in length between 130 and 150 mm. They are made from cut sections of younger trees and would include one node at the handle end. This is to strengthen the piece and prevent cracking. They are sanded down both on the outside and inside surfaces with a nice gradual taper at the scoop end. They are then coated with a mat finish to protect them. They are made by one of the woodworkers making our selection of bamboo tea trays, during his spare time. We are very lucky to be able to propose these fine tools to you at this exceptional price.
