This is one of the 2 pitchers we propose in our Blue Hare's Fur collection. This handleless design features a beautiful contemporary shape whereas our other model is a more classic rendition with a handle. Either or, they are both exquisite in shape, function and finish featuring a dazzling Tianmu 天目 (Tenmoku in Japan) blue hare's glaze executed with vibrant cobalt blue accents that match perfectly any item in our Blue Hare's Fur collection. The item is glazed inside and out to make it a neutral instrument that will fare well with any tea. The pour is precise and generous and features a very neat negative lip around the top edge that avoids over-pouring by concentrating the flow through the opening. This item is moulded to ensure consistency and precision in shape. Nevertheless, this is far from being a mass-produced item as these pots are moulded one by one and corrected individually by an apprentice before being handed over to Master Quan for firing and glazing. Like all the work featured in our Handcrafted section, each item is made one by one and is signed and dated by the artist. Handmade in Taiwan.
