To complete your Laoyan Clay ceremonial tea equipage, this attractive tall vase is perfect for keeping all your tea tools in one convenient place. It is made from Laoyan clay, meaning old rock clay. This coarser grit crushed stone material produces nicely textured, more porous stoneware items. Very often, different coloured grit are mixed together to give it a distinctive rustic look, like it is the case with our Laoyan Clay range. After molding, the body of the vase is spun on a traditional potter's wheel to engrave the circle pattern on the outside. This urn will match all of our Laoyan wares as well as Miaoli clay wares but its rustic looks will also fare well with any contrasting elements in your own tea equipage. Hand-crafted in Taiwan.
