Glass is undoubtedly the most neutral of materials when making tea. It will not “colour” the taste or reflect the true colour of the liqueur. It certainly makes sense when considering a pitcher. In fact, a lot of Taiwanese tea masters will make it their material of choice when it comes to this instrument as it allows a visual appreciation of the liqueur before it is poured into a fine porcelain or earthware cup. Whether you wish to abide with this guideline or not is your choice, we simply provide the options with the best products possible. This classic design is made from pure, non-recycled borosilicate glass right here in Taiwan. The material is thick, heavy and durable. It is the perfect match in volume and shape to our Glass Gongfu Teapot as well as its smaller sibling but will fare very well with any pot or gaiwan of varied materials. This is very often how glass pitchers are paired here in Taiwan! Made in Taiwan.

Nice, dripless pour. I really like this pitcher.

Unbelievable quality for the price. Elegant shape and very nice thick glass handle. My favorite pitcher yet! Don’t bother with other producers. It’s near perfect

I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer who raved about the amazing value of this item! I have the 320 ml size, and despite its fairly thick handle, it is very light weight when empty. It easily accommodates my “small” Finum brew basket (but not the “large” version), for anyone else who may consider using it as a tea steeping vessel. And the pitcher’s handle ensures that there is never an issue of it being uncomfortably hot to pour. Speaking of pouring: NOTHING in my kitchen pours NEARLY as well as this pitcher! (better than my Pyrex measuring cup, for example)

This review is of the larger (380ml) version. Unlike the smaller version, it does not have an especially lightweight feel. In fact, it is NOT merely a scaled up model, but features thicker glass throughout, and it weighs about 2/3 more than the smaller version. It pours VERY nicely (better than my Pyrex measuring cups), but not quite as well as the 320 ml size does.
I sometimes use this with a Finum brew basket. This model easily accommodates the small Finum basket. And since I’m a little bit of a nutcase for allowing as much room as possible for oolong tea leaves to expand, I experimented and discovered the following: the plastic frame of the Large Finum basket can be deliberately warped to fit this pitcher reasonably well by steeping it with boiling water several times inside the pitcher (gently forcing it in a little once it’s warm), and afterward cooling it with tap water (still in the pitcher) to “set” the new shape. I align one of the basket frame uprights with the pitcher spout during the warping process, and then use the same alignment when steeping tea. It works very nicely for me. I also love the value of both size pitchers!

The very best pitchers there are.
The quality is outstanding, thick yet light glass, extremely well made, dripless pour and simply elegant.
Only downside is the following: the 320ml version only holds 250ml comfortably, it is 320ml when you fill it to the brim, whereas the 380ml version can comfortably hold 350ml and it’s about 400ml to the brim.
I consider this important because the capacity is not measured consistently since it doesn’t specify if the quantity refers to a “comfortably-usable” amount (in line to the bottom/beginning of the spout) or to the brim (which is not comfortable at all).
