Our Ping Gai Luan Zi Porcelain Pot is one of our personal favourite when looking for a bigger pot to satisfy a larger group of people while still remaining true to Gongfu style service for any kind of Taiwanese tea and now we have an new 125 ml size to offer for more intimate tea introspections! Both perform beautifully with pu'ers but can be used for any style of tea. It pours very well and is perfectly balanced and easy to handle. We simply have nothing but praise regarding porcelain as a tea making material and praise as well towards the excellent styling and craftsmanship behind every item of our Ivory Porcelain series. Porcelain is lightweight, hard-wearing (despite common misconceptions), offers precise tolerances and great precision in the finished products, if they are well made, of course. It is a perfectly neutral material as opposed to unfinished clays that colour the taste of the tea. When making fragrant teas like high mountain oolongs, porcelain acts like a mirror to reflect all of the aromas and taste out of the leaves.
