The taller format is needed to comfortably house our new bigger size 15 g sample formats. The Discovery Series is meant to introduce tea enthusiasts to a specific style or family of Taiwanese teas, in this case: Taiwan's Green and White Teas. Green and White Tea are not what comes to mind when most think about teas from Taiwan. Oolong is the emblematic tea, especially outside of Taiwan. Today, creative growers and producers are re-interpreting the traditional approach to making green tea by using local tea cultivars and integrating some of the processes and local machinery used to make oolong with pleasantly surprising results. This sampler set proposes a good stepping stone for budding enthusiasts or a great way to get a feel for our offerings before committing to larger orders.
