Our Tall Purple Clay Turret Teapot is our least expensive tea brewing instrument and a true work horse at home, the office, school, or on the go. This is possibly the most versatile and easy to use pot we propose. Consider the large 70 mm lid opening through which any long twisted leaves will enter the pot without having to inflict breakage to them. The tower shape of the pot makes it easy to visualize your personal leaf to water ratio and provides good capacity for great thirsts or sharing tea with others. Alternatively, you may easily use our stainless steel infuser basket to prepare your tea and use your pot as a service pitcher. This bare clay ware will develop a nice patina with time. We recommend to simply rinse and dry your pot and not use washing liquid as soap scent could be absorbed by the clay. For people wishing to carry a simple and compact tea making solution when they travel, you may slide a tea cup pouch with three matching clay cups inside the pot for an all-in-one solution.
